How quickly can I get a nephrology appointment?
Typically within days of your referral arriving, at either office. Regionally, many nephrology practices are booked two to three months out, which matters when your doctor has just found reduced kidney function or protein in your urine. Early evaluation is when the most kidney function can be protected.

- Your doctor found an eGFR under 60, protein or blood in your urine, or a rising creatinine
